Researchers from the Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois have developed a hack that, for about $26 and an 8th-grade science education, can remotely manipulate the electronic voting machines used by millions of voters all across the U.S.

PKR to DAP: Don't win the battle but lose the war

Following the stalemate over seat allocation among Pakatan Rakyat coalition parties in several states, a PKR youth leader has reminded DAP not to "win the battle but lose the war".

Pakatan Rakyat is now facing the dilemma of seat allocation as each party stake their claims of 'safe' and favoured constituencies.
A serious row took place before the Sarawak state election and it really opened up people's eyes on teh difficulty of forging a smooth, working political coalition when the three core parties of Pakatan were never formed with a common goal.

Slim pickings for Umno's allies in GE
It appears there is not much wiggle room for the leaders of Umno's coalition partners in the peninsula, as pressure mounts for them to find suitable seats to contest in the face of possible snap polls anytime from now till next year.
If Umno president and BN chairperson Najib Abdul Razak does indeed call for a general election at the end of this year as speculated, the reading is that things would most likely be sticky at best for the presidents of Umno's four key BN partners - MCA, MIC, Gerakan and PPP.

Pilihanraya umum dah nak dekat? Biro Publisiti BN adakan 14 siri Penerangan Perdana
JITRA 10 Sept — Biro Publisiti dan Penerangan Barisan Nasional (BN) akan mengadakan sebanyak 14 siri Majlis Penerangan Perdana (MPP) bagi menerangkan isu-isu semasa kepada semua anggota jawatankuasa UMNO bahagian dan cawangan di seluruh negara.
Pengerusinya, Datuk Ahmad Maslan berkata, modul yang sama akan digunakan pada setiap siri di setiap negeri.
Kedah menjadi negeri pertama MPP diadakan yang berlangsung di Dewan Wawasan Jitra hari ini.
"MPP ini adalah sebahagian persediaan BN untuk menyiapkan ahli-ahlinya dengan maklumat terkini menghadapi pilihan raya umum ke-13 (PRU-13),” katanya kepada pemberita selepas majlis penutup MPP peringkat Kedah oleh Naib Presiden UMNO, Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
